James Richard Sawyer, 53, died at 1:56 p.m. May 24, 2010, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockwood.
He was born Sept. 16, 1956, a son of Richard James Sawyer and Martha Lavina Workman. They both preceded him in death.
Surviving are his three daughters, Jessica (and Kenneth) Cox, Ashley Sawyer and Amanda Sawyer; three brothers, Robert Koepp, Kurt (and Faye) Koepp and Harlan Koepp; four sisters, Barbara Koepp, Darla Moses, Rhonda (and Todd) Moore and Sharon Koepp; and four grandchildren.
He was an over-the-road truck driver for over 35 years.
A memorial service will be held at Bader Christian Church on Saturday, June 5, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Westlake officiating. Burial will be in Sheldons Grove Cemetery in Browning. Belvidere Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
