Shirley A. Snowman, 72, of Smithfield died at 9:04 a.m. July 24, 2009, at Heartland Healthcare in Canton.
She was born April 10, 1937, in Smithfield, a daughter of James and Tessie Munson Behymer. She married Willie R. Snowman on Nov. 29, 1955, in Smithfield. He died Dec. 13, 1997.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Surviving are three daughters, Tiffany Snowman of Smithfield, Vicky (and David) Hebb of Canton and Joy Newton of Farmington; two brothers, Bob (and Joyce) Behymer of Lewistown and Lewis (and Betty) Behymer of Galesburg; two sisters, Elaine (and Danny) Schoonover of Cuba and Rosemary (and Eldon) Walters of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Smithfield Church of the Nazarene.
Services were held Tuesday at her church with Rev. Layton Malone officiating. Burial was in Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba was in charge of arrangements.
