He was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Bryant, a son of Clifford I. and Vada Chaddock Stell. He married Yvonda Jones on Jan. 19, 1964, in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Debbie Danner of Rushville and Rendy (and Mark) Lange of Lewistown; two sons, Todd Stell of Pekin and Adam (and Jordan) Stell of Minneapolis, Minn.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Danny Stell; and one brother, Lloyd Stell.
He retired in 1987 from United Ready Mix in Peoria.
He was a member of Lewistown Church of the Nazarene and Teamsters Local 627 Retirees Club.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Randy Munson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Maryville Cemetery in Bryant.
