Frances W. Smart, 89, of Cuba died at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 15, 2006, at her granddaughter's home in Delavan.
She was born Sept. 15, 1917, in Wainwright, Mo., a daughter of Prince and Betty Haynes Branch. She married Jack Smart on June 5, 1938, in Fulton, Mo. He died March 15, 1985.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two daughters, Jackie Wardell of Dwight and Janet (and Tom) Rich of Deland, Fla; one son, Joe of Cuba; one sister, Romaine Schmid of Fulton, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba. Burial was in Cuba Cemetery.
