He was born Dec. 29, 1978, in Peoria, the adopted son of Allen and Wilma "Pat" Kindred Stevens. He married Jaimie Leigh Smith on Sept. 10, 2005, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are his adoptive mother of Lewistown; his biological mother, Peggy Brushaber of Lewistown; grandparents, Wilma Carpenter of Lewistown and John C. Carpenter Sr. of Peoria; and one sister, Sierra Sue Gordon of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Allen Stevens.
He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Canton.
He was a laborer. He also was a former Boy Scout in Troop 124 in Canton and a member of the Coca Cola Bowling League in Canton.
Services were held Tuesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Kevin Van Tine and Rev. John Carpenter Jr. officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
