ROSE I. (BRIGHT) SLIGER

Rose Sliger

Rose I. Sliger, 78, of Montgomery, formerly of Ipava, died at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora.

She was born June 27, 1926, in Fountain Green, a daughter of Ross and Grace Strong Bright.

Surviving are one daughter, Terry (and Thomas) Seidelman of Montgomery; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Sue Perry; one sister, Louise Johnson; and three brothers, Marion, Meredith and Ellis Bright.

She owned and operated Rosie's Tap in Ipava for 25 years, retiring in 1984.

She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and a member of the Eagles Club, both in Macomb. She also was a member of Table Grove American Legion Auxiliary.

Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Gary Seidelman officiating. Burial was in Glade City Cemetery in Blandinsville.
