Hazel M. Stambaugh, 92, of Canton died at 10:22 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born April 8, 1912, in Fulton County, the daughter of Joseph and Ruth Hall Brown. She married Amos Robert Stambaugh on Nov. 16, 1929, in Lewistown. He died July 4, 1974.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Gordon R. Stambaugh, and two brothers.
Surviving are one son, Dwaine (and Charlotte) of Canton; one daughter, Dorothy McWhorter of Canton; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She worked at Orr's Dairy and later as a cook at the County Farm in rural Canton.
Services were held Monday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Jones officiating. Burial was in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
