Phyllis A. Savoia, 80, of Canton, formerly of St. David, died at 9:37 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born May 6, 1923, in Lewistown, a daughter of Alva E. and Pearl F. Allen Hezlep. She married Tony Savoia on July 17, 1948, in Canton. He died July 29, 1990.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Hezlep.
Surviving are one son, Jon of Canton, Mo.; one daughter, Sunny Murphy of Lewistown; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sherry Haare of Astoria.
She had worked at Camp Ellis near Ipava and also was a telephone operation for several years.
There were no services. Cremation was accorded. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
