Frances Schisler

Frances G. Schisler, 66, of Lewistown died at 9:16 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born Jan. 9, 1937, in rural Lewistown, a daughter of Clarence N. and Dorothy M. Burgess Keeler. She married Raymond Schisler on Oct. 2, 1954, in Lewistown. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Larry of Little America; two daughters, Lori (and Billy) Braden of Lewistown and Beverly (and Jeff) Lynch of Canton; one brother, Richard Keeler of Lewistown; five sisters, Karen (and Duane) Wegerer of Burlington, Iowa, Ann (and Richard) Sybert of Athens, Marilyn (and Walter) Hauber of Canton, Eleanor (and Carter) Taylor of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, and Doris Carver of Gurnee; and five grandchildren.

She had been a zoning secretary for the city of Lewistown.

She was a member of Waterford Union Church in rural Lewistown. She was a former member of Lewistown Chamber of Commerce.

She was a volunteer for the Fulton County Women's Crisis Service.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, where visitation will be one hour before. Rev. Larry Hance and Rev. John Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
