Sherman L. Senger, 73, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born in South Whitley, the son of Cyrus Senger.

Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline; three daughters, Lynda Senger and Sally Senger, both of Fort Wayne, and Becky Sorg of New Haven; one brother, Dewey Senger of Fort Wayne; one sister, Evelyn Martin of Crown Point, Ind.; and two grandsons.

He was a welder with Dana Corp. for 45 years and retired in 1992. He was a member of the Masonic Southgate Lodge #731, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Mizpah Shrine Temple, Mizpah Shrine Band, American Legion Post #47 and a band member, playing the French horn.

Services were held today at 10 a.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home. Burial was in Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne with a military graveside service conducted by American Legion Post #47.

Memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
