Willis Gerald Shaw, 61, of Astoria died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born Aug. 16, 1939, in Macomb, a son of Willis G. "Pat" and Maryln M. Hulvey Shaw.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Willis "Pat" and Dorothy Shaw of Astoria; two sons, Marty (and Michelle) and Daniel, both of Astoria; one daughter, Misty Shaw of Astoria; one grandson; one brother, Robert "Artie" (and Bonnie) of Davenport, Iowa; and one sister, Shirley (and Duane) Richards of Browning.
He was preceded in death by his mother, two sons, Willis and Shawn; and one sister.
A mechanic and heavy equipment operator, he was a member of Operating Engineers Local 537 of Rock Island.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Macomb.
Services were held at 11 a.m. today at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
