Ella R. Stotler, 68, of Abingdon died at 7:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at the Care Center of Abingdon.
She was born Dec. 8, 1931, in Vermont, a daughter of Irby A. and Mae Emminger Johnson. She married Richard E. Stotler on Nov. 19, 1950, in Abingdon. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother of Abingdon; one daughter, Aleta Anderson of Galesburg; her twin sister, Della Ashley of Abingdon; and two grandchildren.
Her father and one brother preceded her in death.
A member of the United Auto Workers, she worked on the assembly line at Admiral Corp. for 25 years, retiring in May 1990.
She was a member of Abingdon Christian Church. She also was a member of Weight Watchers in Galesburg and TOPS in Abingdon.
Services were held Saturday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel with Rev. David Seitz and Eleanor Landon officiating. Burial was in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Parkinson's Foundation.
