DONALD J. SPRECHER

Donald J. Sprecher, 58, of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of Cuba, died at 8:01 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 1996, at Round Rock Hospital.

He was born Dec. 1, 1937, in Canton, a son of John and Irene Mahr Sprecher. He married Lowanda “Pudge” Ebany on April 1, 1956, in Cuba. He later married Judy Burgard on Dec. 1, 1985, in Oklahoma. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Pamela Wilson of Cuba, Lisa Joachim of Canton and Janice Schutkesting of Perry, Okla.; one son, Don A. Sprecher of Kissimmee, Fla.; two stepsons, Robert T. Burgard of Table Grove and Lanny Burgard of Ipava; two stepdaughters, Kim Burgard of Geneva, Ohio, and Jodi Burgard of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Linda I. Downing of Fairview and Mary Louise VonAch of Oklahoma; one brother, David Samuel Sprecher of Arkansas; and 13 grandchildren.

He was a Navy veteran. He was a truck driver for Collier Trucking Co. in Austin, Texas. He was a member of Cuba Masonic Lodge 534, AF&AM.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Delmar Smith officiating. Burial was in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Canton.

Memorials may be made to the Dream Factory in Pekin or his Masonic Lodge.
