Funeral services for Jeffrey P. “Jeff” Snyder, 28, of Peoria, formerly of Princeville, who was pronounced dead at 12:55 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 1995, were held Monday at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home in Princeville. Burial was in Princeville Cemetery.
He died at the scene of a car-semitrailer accident at Illinois Routes 90 and 91, just east of Princeville.
He was born Jan. 18, 1967, in Peoria, a son of Robert Allen and Donna Bushong Snyder. He married Lisa E. Widner on Dec. 24, 1994, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother of Princeville; one son, Jeffrey Paul Jr. of Astoria; one brother, Tim of Princeville; two sisters, Mrs. Danny (Cynthia) Simpson of Dahinda and Mrs. Timm (Roberta) Brown of Marseilles; his grandmothers, Leota Bushong of Peoria and Mildred Snyder of Hanna City; and four nieces and nephews.
His father preceded him in death.
He was a driver for Door to Door in Peoria. He was a driver for Tri-County Waste Systems in Chillicothe for the past six months.
Memorials may be made to a trust fund for his son in care of First Financial Bank in Princeville.
