LOIS JEAN (FISK) SEXTON

Jean Sexton

Lois Jean (Fisk) Sexton, 74, of Silver City, N.M., died early Saturday morning, Oct. 14, 1995, at her home.

She was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Macomb, a daughter of George Elzie and Maxine (Edie) Fisk, and had been a Silver City resident for the past 24 years. Most of her family still reside in central Illinois. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1995, at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Bellows officiating.

Survivors include her husband Robert R. Sexton of Silver City; son, Robert Ross [Sexton] Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Santa Fe; son, Edward Alan Sexton of Silver City; son, Joseph Wayne Sexton and his wife, Heidi, of Truth or Consequences; a daughter, Nancy Ann Trinkle and her husband Jeff, of Silver City; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sexton was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jack Alan Fisk, in 1947, and a son, Steven Fisk Sexton, in 1968.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Grant Count Chapter, P.O. Box 1943, Silver City, N.M. 88062.
