Mrs. Charles (Norma Jean) Shelton, 54, died at Culbertson Memorial hospital in Rushville early on Nov. 27.
She was born Dec. 8, 1925 in Schuyler county, the daughter of Forrest and Mary Park Conrad.
She was married to Charles R. Shelton on Aug. 23, 1947 in Chandlerville.
Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by husband, Charles R.; one daughter, Mrs. Pamela Benjamin; one son, Charles Gary Shelton; and four grandchildren, all of Beardstown.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Cline Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard D. Steens of the Calvary Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Beardstown City Cemetery.
