Mrs. Carrie Margaret Steele, 62, of Table Grove died at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1980, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Born April 6, 1918, near Ipava, a daughter of Perry E. and Gertrude Counselman Crick, she married Verle E. Steele Nov. 30, 1939. He died June 21, 1960.
One son, Herschel, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Steele farmed in the Vermont-Ipava-Table Grove area a number of years.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Beverly Krider of Cuba, Mrs. Verla Malott of Table Grove, Mrs. Connie Hanlon of Emington and Mrs. Arlene Gale of Vermont; one son, Jay of Table Grove; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Frances Farr of Table Grove.
Private services were held at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Timothy A. Tanner officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.
