Lela B. Stoops, 87, a patient at Good Samaritan Home, Knoxville, 14 years, formerly of Ipava, died at the Home at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 1980.
Born June 6, 1893, in Ipava, a daughter of Alonzo F. and Melinda David Brock, she married William W. Stoops Jan. 1, 1917, in Ipava. He died May 14, 1964.
Six brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jeanne S. Ooerschuk of Aurora, Colo.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. Gary Hardesty officiating. Burial will be in Ipava Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Memorial Home one hour prior to services.
