Paul E. Simmler Of Rushville Dies

Paul E. Simmler, 80, of 537 W. Madison Extension, Rushville, died at 2:25 a.m. Friday, June 27, 1980, in Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

Born June 27, 1900, in Ottawa, a son of Robert and Marie Hauser Simmler, he married Marguerite Boyd in Chicago.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Robert of Springfield; and one sister, Mrs. Ella Smith of Los Angeles. Three sisters preceded him in death.

He was office manager for the Peabody Coal Co., before retiring. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Monday in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery with Rev. E. J. Larson officiating.
