Mrs. Ruth Ethel Stoops, 85, of Vermont, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 1980, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
Born July 22, 1894, in Astoria, she was a daughter of John and Lizzie (Bubb) Danner. She married Andrew Stoops Jan. 18, 1913. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy E. Cox of Peoria, and 10 nieces and nephews.
Two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
