Glen J. Stroops Of Macomb Dies

Glen J. Stroops, 74, of Macomb, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 1975, at his home.

He was born Dec. 21, 1900, in Ray, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Stroops. He married Gladys Fern Winter on Oct. 28, 1925. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Albert Lee of Bardolph and Glen Arthur of Bushnell; one daughter, Mrs. Vincent (Hazel Maxine) Jones of Roseville; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Herman Stroops of Rushville.

Mr. Stroops lived in Adair during his early life and had lived in Bardolph since 1924. He was a retired trucker and farmer, and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. at Sargent’s Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Virgil Kelly officiating. Burial was in the Bardolph Cemetery.
