John M. Sowers Of Ipava DiesJohn M. Sowers Of Ipava DiesJohn M. Sowers, 60, of Ipava died at 2:55 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 1975, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Mr. Sowers was born on Feb. 2, 1915, at Ipava, a son of Elmer and Alice Derry Sowers.
He never married. He was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Ipava American Legion Post 17.
Survivors include one nephew and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Virgil and Henry.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. Donald Harris officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.
