Callie B. Smith, 94, of Vermont, died at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 1973.
He was born Nov. 21, 1878, a son of Robert and Electa Brown Smith. He married Lillian V. Goodman in 1903. She died in 1953.
Surviving are four sons, Jack of Vermont, Guy of Dayville, Ore., Paul of Grants Pass, Ore., and Harvey of Gold Hill, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Velma Burgett of Vermont and Mrs. Lucille Borreson of Merlin, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Addie Cook of Table Grove.
One son, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and five brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Smith was a retired logger and farmer.
Services for Mr. Smith were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kost Memorial Home, the Rev. John Derry officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
