Frank Seward Of Rock Island Dies

Frank D. Seward, 91, of Rock Island, died in St. Anthony’s Hospital there following a short illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Hodgson Funeral Home in Rock Island with Rev. Ronald B. Scriven, pastor of the 15th Avenue Christian Church attending. Burial was in Chippiannock Cemetery.

Mr. Seward was born May 23, 1879, at Novinger, Mo., the son of John F. and Martha Walton Seward. He was graduated from Browning, Ill. High School and moved to Rock Island in 1898.

He was married to Luella Huthmaker who preceded him in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Glenn D. Patterson, Beaverton, Ore.; a son, Phillip F. of Rock Island; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Daring of Browning.
