Frank R. Shaw Dies Saturday

Frank R. Shaw, 75, died Saturday night at his home near Bluff City. Although Mr. Shaw had been in ill health for the past year, his death was unexpected.

Mr. Shaw was born Dec. 30, 1884, near Bluff City, a son of Daniel and Marilla Welker Shaw. He was married to Mildred Bloomfield on July 28, 1906. She survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Warner of Astoria; two sons, Myron of Astoria and Lester of Browning; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Himmel of Browning and Mrs. Charlotte Baumgartner of Bluff City. One son, four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with the Rev. C. W. Leonard of Rushville officiating. Burial was in the Astoria cemetery.
