Mrs. Anna Schoonover, 63, of Highland Park, died on May 1 in a hospital in that city.
She was born in Astoria on June 16, 1897, a daughter of John Atkinson, and had been a resident of Highland Park for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde S.
Survivors include a son, Clyde Jr., five daughters, Mrs. Alda Cliff, Mrs. Mary Bunch, Mrs. Eleanor Est, Mrs. Frances Zeivel and Mrs. Anna Neargarden, and 14 grandchildren.
She is a sister of Fred Atkinson of Astoria.
Funeral services were held last Wednesday morning in Highland Park.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Atkinson received the sad news Sunday afternoon that Fred’s sister, Mrs. Anna Schoonover of Highland Park, Ill., passed away Sunday of a cerebral homorrhage.
She leaves five daughters and a son, a brother, Fred Atkinson, and an aunt, Mrs. Tony Anderson of Huntington Beach, Calif.
