Miss Georgia Ann Stookey, 29, of Macomb, a former member of the Army Nursing Corps, was found shot to death at the roadside adjacent to Oakwood cemetery, three blocks from her home, Monday morning.
Her untimely death was clearly one of suicide, as disclosed by a note she left. She used her father’s shotgun.
