Richard Seaton, aged ninety-five years, former sheriff of Adams county, died Thursday morning at 1 o’clock in the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. D. Bates, in Camp Point. Mr. Seaton was active and in good health until a few weeks ago. His wife died on December 7, 1929. They celebrated their seventy-second wedding anniversary on October 25, 1929.
