BROWNING — Funeral services were held at the M. E. church here Thursday afternoon for Phillip Sherrill who passed away at his home near Mt. Carmel, Rev. Rippy, officiating. The decedent was 72 years old and was a son of Leonard and Ellen Sherrill and had lived in Browning most of his life, moving to Mt. Carmel seven years ago. He is survived by one son, Jesse of Browning and two brothers, William of Peoria and Charles of Old Mexico. His wife, who was Miss Belle Hickman, died many years ago. Interment in Bader cemetery.
