FRED SEACORD

Fred Seacord

When the lights in Fred Seacord’s home at Galesburg failed Saturday night in the midst of an electrical storm, he went outside trouble-hunting, walked into a live wire, blown down by the storm, and was instantly killed. Seacord, 76, was a well-known figure in harness racing circuits and was a former owner of the Galesburg street car system.
