Jessie Schoonover the eighteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Schoonover, living about four miles west of Cuba, died about four o’clock Tuesday morning, the youth taking the deadly drug with suicidal intent. His condition was discovered by other members of the family about midnight and Dr. J. W. Welch hurriedly summoned, but there was no chance to save his life. It is understood the boy, of a very sensitive, high-strung disposition, had been accused of something for which he declared he was not to blame and rather than bear the disgrace, took his own life.
