He was born Sept. 18, 1957, in Canton, a son of Rosell and Alda Bailey Roberts. He married Carman Ann Johnson on May 28, 1981. They were later divorced.
Surviving are two sons, Clark Roberts (and Michelle), Ryan Roberts (and Amy), both of Louisiana, Mo.; one brother, Gary (Bruce) Roberts of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas (Scooter) Roberts.
He graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, Mo., and began working as a heavy equipment operator for Local 513 in St. Louis. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 370 in Louisiana, Mo.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
