He was born Aug. 22, 1937, in Beardstown, the son of Orrin and Thelma Gray Rebman. He married Linda Sue Hale on Jan. 10, 1973, in Maquon. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Brad (and Colleen) Rebman of Lowpoint and Joe (and Hema) Rebman of Golden; one daughter, Mary Rebman of Camden; two sisters, Carol Herdon of Rushville and Susan Jones of Browning; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Steele.
He attended Browning school and Rushville High School. He worked at Burlington Northern Railroad for many years and later retired from Chicago Northwestern Railroad. He was a member of the NRA. He was an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment and firearm enthusiast.
A funeral service was held Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with burial at the Messerer Cemetery.
