Dorothy RieblingDorothy Kathleen Riebling, 91, of Macomb, formerly of Industry, died at 2:22 p.m. Nov. 18, 2021, at Wesley Village Healthcare Center in Macomb.

She was born Oct. 24, 1930, in Colchester, a daughter of Louis and Lura Sweasey Yard. She married Freddie Riebling on Jan. 2, 1949, in Colchester. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2010.

She also was preceded in death by one brother, Eldon Yard; one sister, Caroline Humke; and one nephew, Kent Yard.

Surviving are three sons, Phillip R. (and Dawn) Riebling of Sheboygan Falls, Wis., Ronald (and Robin) Riebling of Good Hope and Howard (and Cynthia) Riebling of Chanhassen, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She worked for J.C. Penney in Macomb for over 27 years and also worked for Meals on Wheels.

She was a member of West Prairie Presbyterian Church where she played the organ and taught Sunday school.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb with Reverend Dr. Scott Grulke officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
