Melanie RhinbergerMelanie G. Rhinberger, 62, of Summum died at 3 p.m. Aug. 13, 2018, at her home.

She was born July 13, 1956, in Galesburg, a daughter of William and Gale Hendricks Marlow. She married Roylee Rhinberger on June 18, 1976, in Knox County. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert Rhinberger of Anderson Lake and Noah Rhinberger of Summum; one daughter, Amy (and James) Knous of Beardstown; one sister, Vicky (and Tony) McCombs of Rushville; two brothers, Jack Marlow and Rick Marlow of Sapulpa, Okla.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, William Marlow.

She was a secretary at H & R Block in Rushville for the last four years. She also worked at Stevens Publishing as a sorter. For the last six years, she was in the sales department for R and M Paracord.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Lewistown. She held many positions with the Boy Scouts, where she was currently Merit Badge Counselor for Troop #132.

Graveside services were held Monday at Summum Cemetery with Ron Jansen officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
