Bebe ReischeBebe Daniel Reische, 90, of Rushville died at 12:25 p.m. Feb. 13, 2018, at The Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.

She was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Rushville, a daughter of Harry and Amanda Barr Daniel. She married Charles William “Bill” Reische on March 22, 1948, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1984.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Ann “Jeannie” Hamilton; five sisters, Stella Rittenhouse, Hazel Spillers, Helen Burk, Daisy Cox and Arlene Runkle; and one brother, Jack Daniel.

Surviving are one son, Joseph E. (and Judy) Reische of Morris; one sister, Bettie Sinnock of Chatham; two grandchildren, Todd Reische and Tanya Hibler; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and good friend, Rolland Clark of Mount Sterling.

She was a member of Rushville First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). For several years, she was Schuyler County Deputy Circuit Clerk and later Circuit Clerk Pro-Tem for the 8th Judicial District until 1976. She later worked at the Schuyler County Highway Department and also sold Aflac Insurance for many years.

She was a founding member of the Scripps Park Historic Preservation Committee and was instrumental in the Cottage Renovation at Scripps Park.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. John Sowers officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
