Scott William Ruzicka, 56, of Lombard and Rushville, died at 9:51 p.m. Aug. 15, 2011, at his home.
He was born April 17, 1955, in Oak Park, the son of Frank and Carole Jandecka Ruzicka. He married Enid L. Johnson on June 20, 1981, in Jacksonville. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother of Sarasota, Fla.; three daughters, Lindsay Ruzicka of Chicago, Courtney (and Jon) Caldwell of Littleton and Christina Ruzicka of Lombard; two sisters, Nancy (and Tim) Breo of Bradenton, Fla., and Cheryl Kravcik of Darien; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a member of Cement Masons Union #502 for over 30 years.
He designed and created his own furniture.
He attended Parkview Community Church in Glen Ellyn.
He retired from Cement Masons Union in 2010.
Services were held Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Carl Wiggins officiating. Cremation will be accorded at a later date with private family inurnment at Rushville City Cemetery.
