Phyllis L. Roos, 83, of Peoria died at 10:02 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
She was born April 17, 1920, in Peoria, a daughter of William Paul and Frances Irene Probert Cook. She married Clarence Roos on Jan. 13, 1940, in Davenport, Iowa. He died Aug. 5, 1995, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.
Surviving are one son, Bradley of Peoria; one daughter, Crystal LeGrisse of Washington; two sisters, Georgia Winters of Metamora and Willa Lambie of Ipava; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She had been a telephone operator for Illinois Bell.
Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Endsley Funeral Home in Bartonville with Monsignor Watson officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
