Becky J. Reid, 76, of Vermont died at 1:38 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born May 7, 1927, in Sullivan, Ind., a daughter of Homer and Blanche Broderick Robinson. She married William Reid on Dec. 24, 1949, in Sullivan, Ind. He died Jan. 4, 1991.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Robinson and Burnell Broderick; and two sisters, Sue Catlin and Betty Lloyd.
Surviving are one daughter, Jan (and Darwin) Aten of Vermont; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister Virginia (and Richard) McHugh of Shelburn, Ind.
She worked as a clerk and treasurer for the Vermont Sanitary District from its inception until her death.
She was a member of Carroll Rankin American Legion Post 26 Auxiliary for 56 years.
Graveside services were held Monday at Vermont Cemetery with Rev. Cindy Rettig officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
