Richard Reather

Richard Carl Reather, 59, of Havana died at 7:35 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 24, 1943, in Billings, Mont., a son of Joseph Jacob and Avis L. Aldrich Reather.

Surviving are two brothers, Dennis of Florida and Kenneth (and Lucia) of California; and two sisters, Rita (and Jody) Snow of Irving and Shary (and John) Cummings of Table Grove.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Vietnam War Air Force veteran, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6408.

He worked as a bartender at the Hialeah Club in Goofy Ridge.

Cremation will be accorded and private services will be held at a later date. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
