HELEN W. (WOECKEL) WRIGHT ROBINSON

Helene Robinson

Helene W. Robinson, 103, of Vermont died at 3:20 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2002, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

She was born Sept. 15, 1898, in Hamburg, Germany, a daughter of August and Catharine Wist Woeckel. She married Harry Wright in 1920. He died in 1958. She later married Edson Robinson in 1968. He died in 1973.

She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Vermont American Legion Auxiliary.

Cremation has been accorded. There were no services. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Vermont Rescue Squad.

[Laura's note: According to Harry Edson Robinson's obituary, they actually were married in 1965, and he died in 1970. Since Helene was alive at the time to give information, I would lean towards that information being correct instead of the dates given here.]
