Frances Rutledge

Frances E. Rutledge, 92, of Macomb, died at 1:51 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at the Elms Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 11, 1906, in Scotland Township, a daughter of Fred and Bessie McKinnon Caspall. She married Ray Rutledge on Feb. 11, 1925, in Macomb. He died Jan. 10, 1966.

Four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Marvin and Robert, both of Adair; one sister, Jeanette Coker of Macomb; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Bardolph Methodist Church, McDonough County Home Extension, Home Economics Club of Adair, McDonough District Hospital Auxiliary, the Grandmother’s Club and Bushnell Rebekah Lodge.

Services were held Monday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Brad Shumaker officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the Elms Nursing Home or to McDonough District Hospital Hospice.
