Cozzetta Marguerite Richardson, 74, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Keokuk, Iowa, died Saturday, July 25, 1998, in Albuquerque.
She was born May 22, 1924, in Marietta, a daughter of Norris and Annie Dean Smith. She married Francis Delmore Richardson in June 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Evelee Smith Clark, and a brother, Albert Smith.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She lived in Keokuk from 1942 until 1998, when she moved to Albuquerque with her nephew. She was a member of New Testament Christian Church.
Services were held Thursday, July 30, at DeJong’s Funeral Home in Keokuk with Rev. Phil Derry and Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in Keokuk National Cemetery.
