Viola Ferne Reneau, 88, of Pekin, died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 1998, at Pekin Hospital.
She was born April 17, 1910, in Fulton County, a daughter of John and Nora Weaver Carson. She married Howard Lee Reneau on May 4, 1934, in Fulton County. He survives.
Also surviving is one sister, Ruth Wandra.
Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Cremation was accorded. A graveside memorial service was held Tuesday at Harris Cemetery in Table Grove with Rev. John Hubbs officiating. Oak-Hines Funeral Home in Canton was in charge of arrangements.
