Charles Rohman

Charles A. Rohman, 90, of Germantown Hills, died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

He was born March 16, 1907, in Peoria, the son of Charles and Ida Ufheil Rohman. He married Mildred E. Randall on Feb. 19, 1944, in Bloomington. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Charles of Peoria and Randall of Vermont, Ill.; two daughters, Pamela Whitman of Peoria and Mrs. Cleo (Patricia) Morgan of Metamora; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and two sisters, Leona Claymon of Minonk and Lazetta Mapes of Annawan.

A Caterpillar Inc. employee for 42-1/2 years, he retired as superintendent of material control in April 1971. He was a member of the Caterpillar Retirees and the Caterpillar Rod Club. He was a former member of Glen Oak Christian Church.

Services were held Monday at American Mausoleum in Peoria. Mason Funeral Home in Metamora was in charge of arrangements.
