Lois Randall

Lois M. Randall, 79, of Lewistown, died at 3:05 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 1997, at Graham Hospital Extended Care in Canton.

She was born Oct. 2, 1917, at rural Cuba, a daughter of Charles M. and Minnie Haacke Hummel. She married W. S. “Bill” McCumber on June 30, 1945 at Canton. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1973. She later married Robert H. Randall on Aug. 24, 1983 at Tacoma, Wash. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1988. She was also preceded in death by four sisters.

Surviving are one sister, Elva L. Thompson of Astoria; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Lewistown United Methodist church and had been a member of both the Lewistown Junior and Senior Women’s Clubs. She had worked at both the former Lewistown National Bank and Lewistown Bank. She had also worked at Camp Ellis and at the Balyki School at Bath.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown with Rev. Jon Sims officiating. There will be no visitation. Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be given to the Lewistown Rescue Squad or the Fulton County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
