Mrs. Myrtle Elizabeth Rock, 81, of Vermont died in Graham Hospital, Canton, at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 1980.
Born Apr. 26, 1899, a daughter of Charles and Melinda White DeMott, she married Harry Heslin in New Jersey in 1920, and Paul Yocum in 1937. Both preceded her in death. She married Earl Rock in 1966.
Surviving are three stepchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Seven brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
She lived with her nephew, Russell DeMott, and his wife since 1978.
She was a member of Cuba Christian Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles Lodge of Canton.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Paul Southard officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
