Stephen A. Reneau Dies In Hospital

Stephen A. Reneau, 42, of 2535 Linden Lane, Crete, formerly of Ipava, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 1980, at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights.

Born Nov. 21, 1937, at Lewistown, a son of Harry and Glenna Vrell Reneau, he married Judith Case.

Surviving are his parents of Ipava; his wife; one son, David, and one daughter, Melanie, both at home; and one sister, Sherry Higgs of Farmington.

He was assistant vice president of the loan department of Chicago Heights National Bank and was active in Cub Scouting and the Crete Band and Orchestra Boosters Club. He was a member of Crete United Methodist Church, Crete Kiwanis Club and Ipava Lodge 213 AF&AM.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Clinton United Methodist Church with Rev. Philip Burke and Rev. C. Don Ferrill officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Crete Cub Scouts or the Crete Band and Orchestra Boosters Club.
