Mrs. Jessie Rinker Dies At Age 79

Mrs. Jessie Belle Rinker, 79, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in her home at Vermont.

She was born Nov. 23, 1890, in Farmers Township, Fulton County, to Hans Christian and Anna S. (Brockley) Rasmussen. In May 1914, she married James Everett Rinker in Peoria. He died in 1945.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Wright of Peoria, Mrs. Ruth A. Webb of Danvers and Mrs. Ellen E. Tingley of Towanda; a son, Robert L. Rinker of Morton; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Glenn Rasmussen of Cuba and Charles L. Rasmussen of Fairview.

One sister and three brothers died earlier.

Mrs. Rinker was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Ipava, and the Rebekah Lodge and the Legion Auxiliary, both in Vermont.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Ipava Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Smidt officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.
