Graveside services for Mrs. Jeanette “Nettie” Rockwell, 85, former Astoria resident who died Tuesday, April 14, were held at 11 a.m. Monday in Astoria Cemetery. The Rev. Fines Main officiated.
She was born in Abingdon May 17, 1884, a daughter of Liege and Mary Sprinkle, and was married to Elbert Rockwell, who died in 1950.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Christine Butler of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Mrs. Amy Crawford of Sun City, Ariz.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith and Mrs. Effie Baer of Bushnell.
